Germany is one of Fixico’s most important European markets. We have built a significant presence, with established customers and partnerships, a strong repair network and a local commercial team. At the same time, we see substantial opportunities to grow our position further.
We are looking for a Head of Germany to spearhead that next phase of growth.
The role
As Head of Germany, you will lead the development of Fixico in the German market across Business Development, Strategic Partnerships and Account Management.
The role combines market development, commercial leadership and hands-on business development.
Building on our existing position, you will work closely with one of Fixico’s founders and the wider leadership team to further develop and execute our strategy for Germany. You will help identify where we see the strongest opportunities for growth, develop our most important customer and partner relationships, and build the commercial organisation needed to capture that potential.
Our commercial approach is highly consultative. Fixico is a scalable technology platform that can be tailored to different customer needs, workflows and use cases. We work closely with customers to understand their operations and objectives, identify where Fixico can create the most value, and build solutions and partnerships that can scale and expand over time.
You will lead and develop our German commercial team while remaining personally active in the market. You enjoy building senior relationships, opening doors, developing partnerships, growing strategic accounts and leading complex opportunities from first conversation through to long-term partnership.
As our senior representative in Germany, you will also play an important role in strengthening Fixico’s position across the German automotive and mobility ecosystem.
What you'll do
Lead the development and execution of Fixico’s growth strategy for Germany, working closely with one of our founders and the wider leadership team.
Grow our German business across new customers, strategic partnerships and existing accounts.
Identify and develop opportunities across fleet, leasing, rental, insurance, OEMs and the broader automotive and mobility ecosystem.
Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers across the German market.
Personally originate, develop, negotiate and close strategic enterprise opportunities.
Use your network and market knowledge to build new relationships and create opportunities for Fixico.
Develop strategic partnerships that can accelerate our growth and strengthen our position in the market.
Grow existing strategic accounts by identifying opportunities across additional use cases, business units and geographies.
Lead and develop our German commercial team across Business Development, Partnerships and Account Management.
Own the German commercial pipeline, forecast and revenue development across new and existing business.
Lead complex, consultative enterprise sales cycles, RFPs and multi-year commercial negotiations.
Understand customer operations and challenges and translate these into compelling business cases with clear commercial and operational value.
Bring market and customer insights into Fixico and help shape our Product, Operations and commercial priorities.
Work closely with Product, Customer Success, Operations and Marketing to turn opportunities into successful long-term partnerships.
Represent Fixico at relevant industry events, conferences and senior customer meetings.
Regularly spend time at our Amsterdam headquarters and play an active role in Fixico’s broader commercial leadership.
Requirements
What you bring
10+ years of experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Account Development or broader Commercial Leadership.
A strong track record of growing a market, business line or commercial organisation, with experience taking a business from one stage of growth to the next.
Strong experience in consultative technology selling, with the ability to understand complex customer operations and translate technology into clear commercial and operational value.
A track record of developing and closing complex, high-value enterprise opportunities involving multiple stakeholders and longer decision cycles.
A strong senior network within the German automotive, mobility, fleet, leasing, rental or insurance ecosystem.
Experience building trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
Experience developing strategic enterprise accounts as well as winning new business.
Experience building partnerships that create new routes to market, customer access or growth opportunities.
Experience leading and developing teams across Business Development, Partnerships and/or Account Management.
Strong strategic thinking and the ability to look beyond individual opportunities and understand how to develop a market over the long term.
Excellent negotiation skills, strong commercial judgement and the ability to build compelling business cases around customer value and ROI.
An entrepreneurial mindset and a high degree of ownership.
The ability to move naturally between strategy and execution.
Experience in a growth environment where you have helped shape strategy and build for the next stage of growth.
Native-level German and fluent English.
Based in Germany, with the willingness to travel and regularly spend time with the team at our Amsterdam headquarters.
Nice to have
Deep experience within automotive, mobility technology, fleet management, leasing, rental or insurance.
An established senior network across multiple parts of the German and broader DACH automotive ecosystem.
Experience with marketplace or platform-based technology solutions.
Experience in an international scale-up or high-growth technology company.
Experience working directly with OEMs, major insurers, leasing companies, rental businesses or large fleet operators.
Experience building or evolving a regional go-to-market approach.
